Privacy policy
We keep this short: what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are
Hiveworx is a design school based in Lisbon, Portugal. For anything about your data, write to hello@hiveworx.com.
Analytics, only if you accept
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to see how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which workshops people click to book. It stores cookies on your device (_ga and _ga_<id>) and may involve transfers to Google in the United States.
Nothing is loaded or stored until you click Accept in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time with (also in the footer); declining removes the analytics cookies. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)).
The contact form
When you send a message, we receive your name, email address, who you are (mentor, institution, funder or other), the topic and your message. We use them only to reply to you. The form is delivered by Formspree, which forwards the message to our inbox. We keep messages as long as the conversation needs, then delete them. The legal basis is replying to your request (GDPR article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Workshop registrations
“Book a spot” and “Register” buttons take you to Luma, where registration happens. Luma handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Things every visit involves
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and browser) to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and one script from jsDelivr, so those services see your IP address when the page loads. We don’t use advertising or social media trackers.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@hiveworx.com. If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date above.
